Family roots and values
My father set me up on a stool and taught me how to build an arrow when I was 5 years old. The feathers were crooked on those first arrows but Dad patiently showed me his techniques. Then off we went to practice with a cardboard target tacked to the straw bale. Mom would be waiting to hear Dad tell her how good a shot I was becoming. Yes, I was pretty darn proud of myself as well.
I have carried these family values into my adult life. Hunting and good sportsmanship are a passion that I decided to make a vocation. My wife Sandie and I saw a need for an honest, personalized archery center that all can enjoy. We cater to the families as much as the hunters. Our focus is to help all enjoy and be successful in this sport.
Dedication to Archery and Community
Archery is a passion for Mike. His dedication was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award he received from the Minnesota State Archery Association. Mike is also the past Governor of the Minnesota State Archery Association (MSAA) and the past Bowfishing Chairman of MSAA.
Mike helped launch the St. Cloud Archers Association, which was selected as the state location for the 2006 MSAA State Shoot. Nearly 800 shooters were attracted to the event. |

Mike's Archery Center is the only archery shop that I will trust my equipment too.
